Łukasiewicz – Industrial Chemistry Institute is leading Polish research institute with over a hundred years of history. The Institute specializes in R&D in petrochemistry, chemical technology, chemistry of polymers, pharmacy and biotechnology.
They focus on scientific and industrial research, implementation and development works, provide commercial service in fields such as: low-emission and recycling technologies, electromobility (hydrogen fuel cells, electrochemical sources of energy), pharmacy (production of active substances, medicinal products), new materials and polymer composites (from obtaining to reuse), pharmaceutical and industrial biotechnology, cosmetic and household chemistry products, as well as modelling of biotechnological processes.
Currently the institute realizes strategic project Kampus Mościcki – the largest infrastructure project in its history, co-financed by the European Funds, as part of the National Reconstruction Plan. The investment creates a modern space for cooperation between science and industry, integrating laboratory facilities with implementation processes and responding to the key challenges of the modern economy.🚀
